Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients and their families to deliver personalized care in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans established by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is an asset but not required 
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
