Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients.
• Reliable transportation to and from job site in Inkster, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
