Join our team of competent and compassionate psychiatric professionals at a Nurse Practitioner Preceptorship at the New View & Orange OTP programs at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and skills will support your learning in psychiatric prescribing, behavioral health interventions, & addiction medicine, including management of all treatments for addiction, including methadone. On a daily basis, you would be seeing patients, attending meetings and groups, and meeting with your preceptor.
This preceptorship would run for about 9 months (approximately 500 hours total) and would be unpaid, as it is for graduate school credit.
Who are we?
The New View program at BHN in Greenfield, MA serves female-identified patients who have been civilly committed through the Section 35 court proceeding to a designated substance use disorder treatment facility. The program offers acute treatment services (ATS) and clinical stabilization services (CSS).
BHN/OTP is a Medication Assisted Treatment Program to assist individuals with opioid use disorders. The OTP program uses evidence-based medication and treatment modalities.
