With deep roots in Western Massachusetts and a growing presence in communities throughout the state, we are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) team in Hyannis and help advance our mission of empowering people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

What You Will Do: 

  • Effectively assesses individuals served with appropriate history taking and physical exam encompassing medical/social/psychological components.
  • Orders tests and procedures as indicated by the diagnosis or differential; distinguishes between normal and abnormal diagnostic test data and follows up appropriately.
  • Helps create discharge plan of care related to an individual’s identified problem, including medication, therapeutic intervention, and next level of care.
  • Consults appropriately with supervising physician regarding proposed treatment.
  • Identifies social problems and/or mental health issues and refers to appropriate support/social service agencies.
  • Refers individual for after-care/follow-up with primary physician or other health care provider within previously defined limits of practice.
  • Maintains clinical productivity consistent with departmental expectations and national benchmark standards (where available and applicable).

Who You Are: 

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate in specialty.
  • Valid Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Experience working within field of addictions preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to utilize sound judgment in the establishment of priorities in patient care management.
  • Demonstrates increasing independence in clinical practice.

PAY RANGE:  $87.00 - $91.00 per hour
