Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner o Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of LA. (Must be active)

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing, and Advanced Nurse Practitioner program or Graduate of approved Physician Assistant Program.

 JOB SUMMARY:

The Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant works as part of the provider team of the clinics. Performs within the scope of practice and licensure within the State of LA. Actively provides direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation and monitoring the general patient management plans for patients. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant performs these functions within a collaborative relationship with a licensed physician of the Innis Community Health Center Inc. in an ambulatory care clinic setting.
