Description:

Healthcare United is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a part-time, permanent casual gastroenterology practice in northern Illinois, near Cherry Valley. This opportunity focuses on gastroenterology care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Clinical responsibilities include Provide gastroenterology care within licensed scope; Support digestive health assessment and follow-up; Collaborate with the gastroenterology team. The provider will coordinate patient care with clinical colleagues and practice within their licensed and credentialed scope.

Qualified applicants should bring appropriate specialty training and credentials and a collaborative approach to patient care. Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program Illinois APRN licensure and appropriate national certification. Specific practice expectations and onboarding needs will be reviewed with qualified applicants.

The published compensation range is $100/hour weekdays; $125/hour weekends. The role includes casual part-time position, 0.05 fte; shifts to be confirmed. Call expectations to be confirmed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program
• Illinois APRN licensure and appropriate national certification
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Adult, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP certification
• Gastroenterology experience preferred; new graduates with a strong GI interest encouraged to apply
• Maintain required BLS/CPR certification
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before hire
• No visa sponsorship at this time
