What Does a Home Health Aide Do?

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.

  • Provide medication reminders.

  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home clean and comfortable.

  • Run grocery shopping errands and assist with meal preparation.

  • Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

  • Communicate effectively and document care to ensure clients feel safe, respected, and heard.

Your dedication will make a meaningful difference in your clients' everyday lives.

Are You a Good Fit?

You may be a great match for this role if you:

  • Have prior experience caring for others (personal or professional) – a plus, but not required.

  • Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and families.

  • Have an attentive, patient, and caring demeanor.

  • Are comfortable learning basic tools or software for documentation.

  • Are willing to learn and grow - we provide free certification to help you build your skills.

  • Embody empathy, integrity, and respect in how you treat others.
