Location: Boonton, NJ (Morris County)

$30 Hourly Rate

Seeking a versatile DSP to support a client in Boonton, NJ. This is a full-time role. Our ideal candidate is an experienced DSP who will truly get to know the client both personally and professionally. As a DSP, you're an advocate, coach, and above all - a friend. You understand the importance of the client being in control and always meet her at her level while supporting her. As a person, you're active, engaging, and empathetic. The selected candidate should be open to building a strong relationship and being an active champion of the positive culture that the client embodies.

Schedule: Preferred schedule listed below, but our client is flexible. If you can offer a partial (3 days or more) schedule of the needed shifts, please apply.

• Mondays 9am-5pm

• Tuesdays 9am-5pm

• Wednesdays 9am-9pm

• Thu OFF

• Fridays 9am-6pm

• Saturdays 11am-6pm

• Sundays OFF

Hours: Up to 40 hours/week

Position Summary: Provide direct support to a female client in her home and community. The role involves assisting with all activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, and facilitating regular community outings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all ADLs and personal hygiene routines

• Transport client into the community for activities (shopping, restaurants, errands)

• Ensure client safety and engagement throughout the day

• Maintain professional communication with family/guardian• Must have experience with suppositories which will be given every other day

• Transfer assistance

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (must have adequate trunk and back seat space; no pickup trucks due to height). Vehicle does NOT need to be wheelchair accessible (client uses a travel chair)

• Must have experience with suppositories, which will be given every other day.

• Must have experience with transfer assistance.

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a DSP

• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility support

• Ability to commit to a consistent, long-term schedule
