Ratios N/A as they will not be assigned to a patient grouping
Required Certifications BLS, WA license required at time of submittal
Common diagnoses/Types of patients All patients that come through an ED, and OP CT Department
Experience or 'Must have' skills CNA Skills, moving patients, taking vital signs, teamwork
Job Duties: i.e. Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's? None
Shifts & Scheduling Fri- Sun 7pm - 7:30am
Weekend Requirement Yes
Holiday Requirement Yes
Is there a call or standby requirement? NO
Floating Requirements Yes, between mainly CT, and when not busy - helping in ED
Scrub Color/Dress Code Any professional color
Unit/Department specific orientation Yes, - One full shift in the ED
Additional Notes This is an unusual assignment as it covers two departments for a small facility, the right person will have an open mindset with a desire to be a great team member
Additional Questions These positions are being opened due to construction of the new CT department, so the right person must be willing to help the CT Techs move and transport patients from inside the facility to the Temporary outdoor mobile CT Trailer. And when there are no patients to be done in CT, they can help as needed in the ED.
