About the role

As a Clinician, you'll provide direct patient care and education in a supportive, collaborative health center environment. On a typical day, you might: Assess, diagnose, and treat patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care Provide contraceptive counseling, education, and services Perform STI screening, testing, diagnosis, and treatment Provide pregnancy testing, options counseling, and other reproductive health services Perform clinical exams and procedures within your scope of practice and PPCW protocols Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate Educate patients about their health, treatment options, and follow-up care Collaborate with nurses, Clinic Assistants, and other health center staff to ensure safe, coordinated care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Provide compassionate, inclusive, trauma-informed care that respects each patient's needs, identity, and decisions Schedule & Location We have two regular, onsite Clinician positions available at our Salem Health Center in Salem, Oregon. Position 1: Part-Time – 22.5 Hours/Week Day Schedule Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm Friday 8:00am–4:00pm Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm Position 2: Full-Time – 37.5 Hours/Week Day Schedule Tuesday 11:00am–7:00pm Wednesday 11:00am–7:00pm Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm Friday 8:00am–4:00pm Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm Candidates may be considered for either position based on their availability and preferences. Please indicate whether you're interested in the full-time schedule, part-time schedule, or both when applying. Employees may be requested or required to occasionally work other days (including weekends), hours, and locations to meet operational needs. No additional language requirement. What We're Looking For Required: Current or eligible Oregon licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Physician Associate (PA) Appropriate graduate-level education, professional certification, and prescribing authority for the role Ability to assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients within the scope of practice Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team Commitment to providing inclusive, evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive health care Willingness to learn and follow PPCW's clinical protocols and standards New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply! Nice to Have: Experience in reproductive health, family planning, primary care, or related clinical services Experience with contraception, STI diagnosis and treatment, or other sexual and reproductive health services Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) Bilingual or multilingual skills Pay & Growth $54.41–$79.26/hour Pay is based on experience and internal equity. Most new hires start toward the lower end of the range, with room to grow.
