CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the school nurse with the daily operation of the elementary school health office and provide a welcoming, reassuring environment for students.
• Greet students, document health office visits, and promptly bring symptoms, injuries, or changes in a student’s condition to the nurse’s attention.
• Provide routine student care and carry out specific health tasks as assigned and supervised by the school nurse, following required training and student care plans.
• Help maintain student health records, organize supplies, and follow confidentiality and infection control procedures.
• Communicate with staff and families as directed by the school nurse.

HOURS:                11 AM - 3 PM daily/180 school days per year (prorated)

SALARY:              $23 per hour

BENEFITS:            This position does not carry any benefits
