Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Med Surg

**Title:** Nursing Assistant – Inpatient Acute Care **Schedule:** Night Shift - 1845-0715, every other weekend **Assignment Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Contract Weeks: 13 **Requirements:** - Nursing Assistant Certification must be certified by the state of Pennsylvania. - Must meet the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care, including basic hygienic care such as bathing, oral hygiene, and skin care. - Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, feeding, and dressing. - Take and record vital signs, height, and weight accurately. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, ensuring all necessary items are within reach. - Record and report patient care provided, including patient complaints and observations to appropriate team members. - Collaborate with team members in resupplying stock and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. **Compliance / Notes:** - Must adhere to all facility-specific protocols and guidelines.
